New QForm 7.2 Simulation Seminar and Training Day in National Metalforming Center. December 5-6th, 2013
Dear QForm user!I have pleasure in inviting you to our seminar and training on metal forming simulation. At this seminar we will present the new version QForm v 7.2 which incorporates many new and important features in addition to improved functionality and interface.
We are pleased to let you know that QForm7 is featured on the cover of the latest issue of Forging Magazine, USA (see below). The article ‘The Revolution of Simulation Software Development’ discusses the unique development process and functionality included in this metal forming simulation software. You can read or download a pdf-file of the article at the link at the bottom of this letter clicking the picture.
The number of our users has grown considerably. Our seminar gives you a unique opportunity to meet people who are successfully using QForm simulation for the most challenging of technological tasks and feel the creative atmosphere of this forging community.
Preliminary agenda of the Seminar:
5th December. QForm 7 Simulation Seminar:
Overview of QForm7 concepts. The new features of version 7.2. New models for ring rolling, orbital forging, material modelling and product properties prediction (microstructure and heat treatment). Assembled tools, coupled tool simulation and residual stresses. Effective ways of the software implementation and interpreting of the results. Presentation of case studies aimed towards material and energy saving, quality improvement, die life extending. Industrial cases presented by the software users. We will also look forward in respect of future software development.
6th December. Simulation Training Day
How to setup and run a simulation project in QForm 7.2. The participants will have the opportunity to try the new software version with their own cases and to ask questions on specific simulations. We will demonstrate how to solve practical problems, use standard and user defined subroutines to get the most of simulation. We will provide several computers for this work but participants are welcome to bringing their own where the software will be installed for training purposes.
A more detailed agenda will be sent you later.
